Inspection Procedure

Measure voltage between terminals TC and CG of DLC3.
PREPARATION:

Turn the ignition switch ON.

CHECK:

Measure the voltage between terminals TC and CG of the DLC3.

OK:

Voltage: 10 to 14 V

1. NG: Go to step 4 .
2. OK: Go To Next Step.
With ignition switch OFF, check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between ECM and DLC3, and DLC3 and body ground (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
1. NG: Repair or replace harness and connector.
2. OK: Go To Next Step.
Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between skid control ECU and ECM (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
1. NG: Repair or replace harness and connector.
2. OK: Replace brake actuator assembly.
NOTE: When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform the zero point calibration (see PRE-CHECK ).
Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between terminals TC of the DLC3 and ECM (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
1. NG: Repair or replace harness and connector.
2. OK: Replace ECM.
