Inspection Procedure

Check parking brake switch circuit (see PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
1. NG: Repair or replace parking brake switch circuit.
2. OK: Go To Next Step
Check brake fluid level warning switch circuit (see PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
1. NG: Repair or replace brake fluid level warning switch circuit.
2. OK: Go To Next Step
Is DTC output?
Check for DTCs (see PRE-CHECK ).
1. YES: Repair circuit indicated by output code.
2. NO: Go To Next Step
Check BRAKE warning light.
See combination meter INSPECTION .
1. NG: Repair or replace combination meter.
2. OK: Replace brake actuator assembly.
NOTE: When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform the zero point calibration (see PRE-CHECK ).
