Inspection Procedure

Check skid control ECU communication.
(REFERENCE) INSPECTION USING OSCILLOSCOPE

PREPARATION:
1. Remove the skid control ECU.
2. Connect the oscilloscope to each of terminal ENG+ or TRC+ and GND of the skid control ECU.
  CHECK:
  
  Start the engine, and check the signal waveform.

1. NG: Check and replace skid control ECU.
2. OK: Go to next step.
Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between each of terminals ENG+, ENG-, TRC+, TRC- of skid control ECU and ECM (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC TABLE AND INSPECTION ).
1. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector.
2. OK: Check and replace ECM.
