SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY (4-Door): Removal

NOTE: Do not open the cover or the case of the ECU and various electrical devices unless absolutely necessary.
(If the IC terminals are touched, the IC may be destroyed by static electricity.)

NOTE: For step 1 to 3, refer to SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER (SEDAN) .

REMOVE FRONT AND REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATES
REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH
REMOVE RETRACTOR PART OF FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT
REMOVE SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the side airbag sensor assembly connector.
  NOTE: Disconnect the connector with the sensor assembly installed.
2. Remove the 3 bolts and side airbag sensor assembly.
