Front Airbag Sensor: Removal

NOTE:
  • If the wiring connector of the SRS is disconnected with the ignition switch at ON position, DTCs will be recorded.
  • Never use SRS parts from another vehicle. When replacing parts, replace them with new ones.
  • Never reuse a front airbag sensor if the airbag has previously deployed in collision.
  1. REMOVE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR LH 
    1. Remove the bolt and air cleaner inlet.
    2. Disconnect the front airbag sensor LH connector.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts and front airbag sensor LH.

  2. REMOVE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR RH 
    1. Disconnect the front airbag sensor RH connector.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and front airbag sensor RH.
