Exterior Body Panels: Hood: Adjustment

NOTE: The centering bolts are used to mount the hood hinge and hood lock. The hood and hood lock cannot be adjusted with the centering bolts on. Substitute the centering bolts with the standard bolts (with washer) when making adjustments.

ADJUST HOOD IN FORWARD/REARWARD AND LEFT/RIGHT DIRECTIONS
Adjust the hood by loosening the hood side hinge bolts.
1. Torque: 11.5 N.m (115 kgf.cm, 8 ft.lbf)

ADJUST FRONT EDGE OF HOOD IN VERTICAL DIRECTION
Adjust the hood by turning the cushions.

ADJUST HOOD LOCK
Adjust the lock by loosening the 3 bolts.
1. Torque: 8.0 N.m (80 kgf.cm, 69 in.lbf)
