Problem Symptoms Table

If there are no DTCs output but the problem still occurs, check the circuits for each problem symptom in the order given in the table below and proceed to the relevant troubleshooting page.

NOTE: When replacing the brake actuator assy (skid control ECU), sensor, etc., turn the ignition switch off.

ABS does not operate	Check the DTC reconfirming that the normal system code is output. IG power source circuit Speed sensor circuit Check the brake actuator assy with the hand-held tester.
