Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point CALIBRATION
.
- Check sensor installation.
CHECK:
Check that the yaw rate & deceleration sensor has been installed properly.
OK:
The sensor should be tightened to the specified torque.
The sensor should not be tilted.
- NG: Install yaw rate & deceleration sensor correctly.
- OK: Go to next step.
- Check for open or short circuit in harness and connector between PNP switch (P position) (A/T), or parking brake switch (M/T) and master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU).
- NG: Repair or replace harness or connector (P circuit: A/T, Parking brake switch circuit: M/T).
- OK: Go to next step.
- Check if zero point calibration of the yaw rate & deceleration sensor has been done.
CHECK:
Perform zero point CALIBRATION .
- NEXT: Go to next step.
- Reconfirm DTC (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR
).
PREPARATION:
Clear the DTCs.
CHECK:
Check if the same DTCs are detected.
RESULT:
DTC OUTPUT RESULTDTC is output A DTC is not output B - B: END.
- A: Replace master cylinder solenoid (See CALIBRATION ).
