Inspection Procedure

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY HAND-HELD TESTER 
    1. Operate the hand-held tester according to the steps on the display and PERFORM the "ACTIVE TEST".
      ACTIVE TEST DETAILS

      Item Test Details Diagnostic Note
      D-BELT REMIND D-belt indicator OFF/ON -
    1. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSY 
    2. NG: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY LH 
    1. Check resistance.
      1. Driver sits on the seat.
      2. Check resistance between the terminal 1 and 2 of the front seat inner belt assy LH.

        Standard: 

        FRONT SEAT BELT RESISTANCE

        Condition Resistance (Ω)
        Seat belt is fastened 1,330
        Seat belt is unfastened 330

    1. NG: CHECK AND REPLACE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY LH 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. CHECK HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (AIRBAG SENSOR ASSY CENTER-FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY LH) 
    1. Check continuity between the terminal A20-11/A20-19 of airbag sensor assy center and terminal B16-1 of front seat inner belt assy LH.
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE AIR BAG SENSOR ASSY CENTER
