Inspection Procedure

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY HAND-HELD TESTER (COMBINATION METER)

Operate the hand-held tester according to the steps on the display and PERFORM the "ACTIVE TEST".

OK: Go to next step.

READ VALUE OF HAND-HELD TESTER (COMBINATION METER)
1. Operate the hand-held tester according to the steps on the display and select "DATA LIST".

1. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSY
2. NG: Go to next step.

INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSY

Remove the fuel sender gauge assy.

Check that the float position is between E and F and measure resistance between the terminals 2 and 3 of the connector. Check that the resistance value changes continuously.
