Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY (DRIVER SIDE)
- Disconnect the front seat inner belt assy connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard:
TERMINAL SPECIFIED CONDITIONTerminal No Condition Specified condition B15-1 - B15-2 Seat belt is fastened 10 kΩ or higher B15-1 - B15-2 Seat belt is unfastened Below 1Ω Courtesy of © TOYOTA, LICENSE AGREEMENT TMS1002
NG: REPLACE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY (DRIVER SIDE)
OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY - COMBINATION METER ASSY) (SEE INTRODUCTION
)
- Disconnect the C10 and B15 connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard:

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSY (SEE INSTRUMENT PANEL/METER )
