Back Door Glass Stay Disposal

  1. Fix back door glass stay (1) using a vise (C).
  2. Using a hacksaw (A), slowly make two holes in the back door glass stay in the numerical order as shown in the figure below.
    CAUTION:
    • When cutting a hole on back door glass stay, always cover hacksaw using a shop cloth (B) to avoid scattering metal fragments or oil.
    • Wear eye protection (safety glasses).
    • Wear gloves.

    1. 20 mm (0.8 in) 
    2. Cut at the groove.
