Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to "WIRING DIAGRAM ".
- PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check "Self diagnostic result" with CONSULT.
- Erase the DTC.
- Perform DTC confirmation procedure. Refer to
"DTC LOGIC ".
Is the DTC displayed again?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Check intermittent incident. Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
- CHECK SLIDING MOTOR CIRCUIT (POWER SHORT)
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect sliding motor and driver seat control unit connector.
- Check voltage between sliding motor harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Voltage (V) (Approx.) Sliding motor Connector Terminals B204 1 Ground 0 5 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO: Repair circuit for short to voltage.
- CHECK DRIVER SEAT CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT SIGNAL
- Connect driver seat control unit connector.
- Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Voltage (V) (Approx.) Driver seat control unit Connector Terminals B203 35 Ground 0 42 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 4.
NO: Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
