BLUETOOTH® CONTROL UNIT: Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to "WIRING DIAGRAM ".
- CHECK FUSE
Check that the following fuses of the Bluetooth® control unit are not blown.
Power source Fuse No. Battery 31 Ignition switch ACC or ON 4 Ignition switch ON or START 12 Is inspection result OK?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Check voltage between Bluetooth® control unit harness connector B142 and ground.
(+) (-) Ignition switch position Value (Approx.) Connector Terminal B142 1 Ground OFF Battery voltage 2 ACC 3 ON Is battery voltage present as specified?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO: Check harness between Bluetooth® control unit and fuse.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect Bluetooth® control unit connector.
- Check continuity between Bluetooth® control unit harness connector B142 and ground.
Connector. Terminal - Continuity B142 4 Ground Yes 20 23 Are continuity results as specified?
YES: Inspection End.
NO: Repair harness or connector.
