Removal and Installation - Rear Expansion Valve: Removal

- Discharge the refrigerant. Refer to "HFC-134A (R-134A) SERVICE PROCEDURE ".
- Remove the third row seat. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION - LH SEAT " (W/O Power Folding LH), "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION - RH SEAT " (W/O Power Folding RH), "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION - RH SEAT " (Power Folding LH) and "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION - RH SEAT " (Power Folding RH).
- Remove the luggage side finisher lower (RH). Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- Remove the rear floor duct. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- Disconnect the A/C refrigerant pipes from the rear expansion valve.CAUTION: Cap or wrap the A/C refrigerant pipe ends and the evaporator pipe ends with a suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of air and contaminants.
- Remove the rear expansion valve.
