Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal (1) and positive battery terminal (2).
    CAUTION: Remove negative battery terminal first.

  2. Remove the battery cover.
  3. Remove the battery clamp bolt (3) and battery clamp.
  4. Remove the battery.
