Inspection Procedure

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH - BODY GROUND)

Disconnect the transmission control switch connector of shift lever assy.
Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

Standard:

TESTER CONNECTION RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
4-Body ground	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE )
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.

INSPECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH
1. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard:

1. NG: REPLACE TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH-ECM)
1. Connect the transmission control switch connector of shift lever assy.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE )
2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
