Inspection Procedure

INSPECT STOP LAMP SWITCH ASSY (See INSPECTION )
1. NG: REPLACE STOP LAMP SWITCH ASSY
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STOP LAMP SWITCH ASSY - ECM)
1. Install the stop lamp switch assy.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below when the brake pedal is depressed and released.

1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE )
2. OK: REPLACE ECM (See REPLACEMENT )
