    1. NG: CHECK FOR SHORT IN ALL HARNESS AND CONNECTOR CONNECTED TO FUSE AND REPLACE FUSE
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
  2. INSPECT SKID CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR (+BS TERMINAL VOLTAGE)
    1. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard:

      SPECIFICATION TESTER CONNECTION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      S27-31 (+BS) - S27-32 (GND)10 to 14 V

    1. NG: Go to step NO TAG
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
  3. RECONFIRM DTC
    1. Clear the DTCs (see PRE-CHECK ).
    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    3. Are the same DTCs recorded?
NOTE: When replacing ABS & TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSY, perform zero point calibration (see PRE-CHECK ).
    1. NO: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
    2. YES: REPLACE ABS & TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSY (See  REPLACEMENT  )
  4. INSPECT SKID CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR (GND TERMINAL CONTINUITY)
    1. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard:

      SPECIFICATION TESTER CONNECTION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      S27-32 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 Ω

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
  5. RECONFIRM PTC
    1. Clear the DTCs (see PRE-CHECK ).
    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    3. Are the same DTCs recorded? (see PRE-CHECK ).

      HINT:

It is suspect that the DTCs output was caused by the poor connection of the connector terminal.

    1. NO: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
    2. YES: REPLACE ABS & TRACTION ACTUATOR ASSY (See  REPLACEMENT  )
