Heater Control Assembly: Removal

  1. REMOVE CENTER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL

    1. Using a hexagon wrench, remove the 4 bolts.
    2. Using a screwdriver, remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
      NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
    3. w/o Radio:
      1. Remove the 4 bolts and stereo opening cover.
      2. w/ Radio:
      3. Remove the 4 bolts and radio, then disconnect the connectors.

  2. DISCONNECT HEATER CONTROL CABLES 

    Remove the No. 1 instrument panel under cover subassembly.

    NOTE: When the cables are disconnected, be careful not to bend the cables.

  3. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 screws.
    2. Using a screwdriver, remove the heater control assembly.
      NOTE: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
