Rear Parking Brake (Internal Shoe): Inspection

Clearance between parking brake shoe and lever must be .0138 in. (.350 mm) or less. If clearance is more than .0138 in. (.351 mm), replace shim under parking brake lever. See Figure. Shims are available from .012-.036 in. (.30-.91 mm), in .012 in (.30 mm) increments. Use NEW "C" washer when installing lever.
