Park/Neutral Position Switch (RX 300): Removal

  1. PNP switch is located on side of transaxle. Disconnect switch connector. Remove shift control nut and cable from manual lever. Remove lock nut, washer and manual lever from control shaft. See Figure.
  2. Using a screwdriver, bend up tabs on lock washer. Remove lock nut, lock washer and seal from control shaft. Discard lock nut and lock washer. Remove adjusting bolts and PNP switch.
