Section 746 (Seat Belt PRETENSIONER (Rear)): Installation

NOTE:

Never use seat belt pretensioner from another vehicle. When replacing parts, replace them with new parts.
Make sure that the rear seat outer belt is installed with the specified torque.
If the rear seat outer belt has been dropped, or there are cracks, dents or other defects in the case or connector, replace the rear seat outer belt with a new one.
When installing the rear seat outer belt, take care that the wiring does not interfere with other parts and is not pinched between other parts.

INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT
1. Install the retractor of rear seat outer belt with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 42 N.m (430 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)
2. Connect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.
3. LH: Lock the connector protector as shown in the illustration.
4. Install the floor anchor with the bolt.
  Torque: 42 N.m (430 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf)

INSTALL ROOM PARTITION TRIM
INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL
1. Install the seat belt through the cutout of the package tray trim panel.
2. Install the package tray trim panel with the 2 clips.

INSTALL REAR SPEAKER GRILLE
Install the rear speaker grille as shown in the illustration.

INSTALL HIGH-MOUNTED STOP LIGHT
1. Connect the connector.
2. Install the high-mounted stop light as show in the illustration.
INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION or INSTALLATION )
INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION (See INSTALLATION or INSTALLATION )

INSTALL ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH
1. Install the roof side inner garnish as shown in the illustration.
  NOTE:
  - Be careful not to damage the airbag and wire harness.
  - If the clip is damaged, replace new clip.
2. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH
1. Install the rear seat side garnish as shown in the illustration.
2. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.

INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE
1. Install the rear door scuff plate as shown in the illustration.
2. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
