Park/Neutral Position Switch (RX 300): Installation

  1. Install switch on control shaft. Install PNP position switch adjusting bolts and align reference marks. See Figure. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install seal and NEW lock washer and NEW lock nut and tighten to specification. Bend tabs on lock washer over against lock nut. Install the shift control cable to the control shaft. Install nut and tighten to specification.
  2. Ensure engine starts only in the Neutral and Park positions. Readjust if necessary.
