Inspection Procedure

  1. Check Passenger Seat Belt Warning Light 
    1. Check passenger seat belt warning operation.
      1. Remove the body ECU with connectors still connected.
      2. Using SST, connect the terminal PBKL and body ground.
      3. Check that the passenger seat belt warning light flashes.

    1. OK: Go To Next Step  , (Inspect Front Seat Inner Belt Assy RH).
    2. NG: Check And Replace Combination Meter Assy 
  2. Inspect Front Seat Inner Belt Assy RH

    1. Check continuity.
      1. Disconnect the connector from seat belt inner belt RH.
      2. Check continuity between terminals 1 and 4 when buckle switch condition, as shown in the chart.

      OK:

    1. OK: Go To Next Step  , (Inspect Separate Seat Type Front Seat Cushion Pad (Occupant Detection Sensor).
    2. NG: Replace Front Seat Inner Belt Assy RH 
  3. Inspect Separate Seat Type Front Seat Cushion Pad (Occupant Detection Sensor)

    1. Disconnect the separate type front seat cushion pad.
    2. Check continuity separate type front seat cushion pad.

    1. OK: Go To Next Step  , (Check Harness And Connector (Between Body ECU And Buckle Switch RH).
    2. NG: Replace Separate Seat Type Front Seat Cushion Pad 
  4. Check Harness And Connector (Between Body ECU And Buckle Switch RH) 
    1. OK: Repair Or Replace Harness Or Connector 
    2. NG: Check And Replace Multiplex Network Body ECU 
  5. Check That Malfunction Disappear A Known Good Combination Meter Is Installed 
    1. Check that malfunction disappear when a known good combination meter is installed.

    2. B : Check And Replace Air Conditioner Amplifier Assy
