Seat Belt Warning Light: Highlander

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect seat belt buckle switch connector at bottom of inner seat belt. Connect a jumper wire between seat belt buckle switch wiring harness connector terminals No. 1 and 4. See .Figure Turn ignition on. Seat belt warning light should be on. If seat belt warning light is off, check wiring harness. Repair wiring or replace instrument cluster assembly as necessary. Retest system.
