  1. Check throttle control motor and sensor. See THROTTLE BODY under IDLE CONTROL SYSTEM in SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING - LX470 article. Replace as necessary. See THROTTLE CONTROL MOTOR in REMOVAL & INSTALLATION - EXCEPT GX470 article. If okay, go to next step.
  2. Remove the intake air connector. Check whether or not a foreign body is caught between the throttle valve and housing. Repair as necessary. If okay, replace throttle control motor and sensor.
