Diagnosis & Repair

- Check voltage between terminals VC and E2 of ECM connector. See Figure. If no voltage is present, check and replace ECM. If voltage is present, go to next step.
- Check voltage between terminals PTNK and E2 of ECM connectors. See Figure. If no voltage is present, check and replace ECM. If voltage is present, go to next step.
- Check for open or short in wiring between vapor pressure sensor and ECM. See ENGINE PERFORMANCE in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article in ELECTRICAL. If problem exists, repair wiring as necessary. If problem does not exist, replace vapor pressure sensor.
