  1. Check throttle control motor. See THROTTLE CONTROLS in SYSTEMS & COMPONENT TESTING article. Replace throttle body as necessary. If okay, go to next step.
  2. Visually check throttle valve. Check whether or not a foreign body is caught between the throttle valve and housing. Clean housing as necessary. If okay, replace throttle body.
