Luggage Compartment Door Opener System

Verify customer problem. Perform customer problem analysis check (luggage compartment door opener system). See Fig 1.
If luggage compartment door opener operates, go to next step. If luggage compartment door opener does not operate, refer to the following list for possible cause of the malfunction.
- Check DOOR1 fuse (25-amp) in engine room junction block. See Figure and Figure .
- Check luggage door opening switch assembly. See LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH CIRCUIT under SYSTEM TESTS.
- Check luggage door cancel switch assembly. See LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH CIRCUIT under SYSTEM TESTS.
- Check luggage door lock assembly. See LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CIRCUIT under SYSTEM TESTS.
- Check wiring. For luggage compartment door opener system wiring, see TRUNK, TAILGATE & FUEL DOOR in SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS.
Perform trouble shooting in the following method, depending on the malfunction symptom.
- Perform pre-check. See POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM & LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER SYSTEM PRE-CHECK under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Inspection with hand-held tester (active test).
- Check inputs to multiplex body ECU. See TERMINALS OF ECU (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER SYSTEM) under PIN VOLTAGE CHARTS.
