Fuel Lid Opener System

Verify customer problem. If fuel lid opener system does not operate properly, refer to the following list for possible cause of the malfunction.

Check FUEL OPN fuse (5-amp) in instrument panel junction block. See Figure and Figure .
Check fuel lid opening switch. See FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH & FUEL LID OPENING LOCK SUBASSEMBLY under COMPONENT TESTS.
Check fuel lid opening lock subassembly. See FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH & FUEL LID OPENING LOCK SUBASSEMBLY under COMPONENT TESTS.
