Possible Causes

DTC 83/B1160 could be caused by a short in circuit ICR+ (Violet wire) and circuit ICR- (Orange wire) in right side curtain air bag squib circuit, right side curtain air bag squib malfunction or air bag sensor assembly malfunction.

NOTE: During testing, if DTCs other than DTC 83/B1160 are displayed, disregard them.
