Front Air Bag Sensors: Removal

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect negative battery cable. Wait at least 90 seconds.
- For left front air bag sensor, remove battery carrier, battery and battery tray. For right front air bag sensor, remove air cleaner assembly. For either front air bag sensor, disconnect front air bag sensor harness connector with sensor mounted on vehicle. Remove 2 bolts and front air bag sensor.
