DTC 33/B1141: Left Head Impact/Side Air Bag Sensor Assembly Malfunction: Description

The side air bag sensor assembly consists of a safing sensor, diagnosis circuit and lateral deceleration sensor. The head impact/side air bag sensor assembly receives signals from lateral deceleration sensor, judges whether or not the air bag must be deployed and detects diagnosis system malfunction.
