DTC 32/B1140: Right Head Impact/Side Air Bag Sensor Assembly Malfunction: Description

The head impact/side air bag sensor assembly consists of a safing sensor, diagnosis circuit and lateral deceleration sensor. The head impact/side air bag sensor assembly receives signals from lateral deceleration sensor, judges whether or not the air bag must be deployed and detects diagnosis system malfunction.
