Transfer Shift Actuator Motor Operation

NOTE: For circuit reference, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and/or WIRING DIAGRAMS  .

Connect heater main relay between actuator connector and battery. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . Actuator shaft fork should move to 2WD to 4H position. Connect heater main relay between actuator connector and battery. See Fig 1 and Fig 3 . Actuator shaft fork should move from 4H to 2WD position. Connect heater main relay between actuator connector and battery. See Fig 1 and Fig 4 . Actuator shaft fork should move from 4H to 4L position. Connect heater main relay between actuator connector and battery. See Fig 1 and Fig 5 . Actuator shaft fork should move from 4L to 4H position. If actuator does not operate as described, replace actuator.
