Companion Flange & Oil Seal: Installation

- Install NEW bearing and spacer. Install oil slinger and NEW oil seal. Drive NEW oil seal .08" (2.0 mm) below differential case surface. Apply grease to oil seal lip. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
- Apply gear oil to NEW companion flange nut threads. Torque nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Adjust drive pinion preload. See AXLE ASSEMBLY SPECIFICATIONS . Fill differential. See LUBRICATION .
