"L" Range Test

Move gearshift lever to "L" position. Ensure there is no upshift to 2nd gear. Release accelerator pedal. If there is no engine braking, 1st and reverse brake is defective. Check for abnormal noise and harsh engagement at acceleration and deceleration.
