"2" Range Test

  1. Move gearshift lever to "2" position. Test drive vehicle with accelerator pedal held constant at full throttle. Ensure 1-2 upshift points are at specified speed. See SHIFT SPEED SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Release accelerator pedal and check engine braking. If there is no engine braking, second coast brake is defective. Check for abnormal noise and harsh engagement at acceleration and deceleration.
