SLT Solenoid (Sequoia, Tundra 4.7L & 4Runner)

Throttle pressure that is applied to primary regulator valve, which modulates line pressure, causes SLT solenoid to precisely and minutely modulate and generate line pressure according to accelerator pedal effort or engine output. ECM controls line pressure by sending a predetermined duty ratio to SLT solenoid. SLT solenoid modulates line pressure and generates throttle pressure. SLT solenoid is located on transmission valve body. See Fig 1, Fig 4 and Fig 6 .
