Disconnect electrical connector from pattern select switch. Using DVOM, ensure continuity exists between terminals No. 2 and 3 on Tacoma, and 3 and 4 on 4Runner with switch in PWR mode. See Figure and Figure . No continuity should exist in NORM mode. Replace switch as necessary.
