O/D Main Switch

Disconnect electrical connector from O/D main switch, located on gearshift lever. Using DVOM, ensure continuity exists between switch terminals No. 5 and 10 on Tacoma and 4Runner, and terminals No. 1 and 3 on Sequoia and Tundra, with switch released (OFF position). Ensure no continuity exists with switch depressed (ON position). See Fig 1 or Fig 2 . Replace switch if defective.
