Park/Neutral Position Switch: Removal

Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch is located on side of transmission. Remove lock nut, washer and manual lever from control shaft. Bend up tabs on lock washer. Remove lock nut, lock washer and seal from control shaft. Remove retaining bolt and switch. See Figure.
