Circuit Description

The ECM receives signal L4 from the indicator switch (LOW switch). DTC is set when ECM detects, when driving for 18 seconds or more, the output shaft speed is 3000 RPM or less and the transfer shift position is "H". This turns the indicator switch (LOW switch) ON. Possible causes are:
- Short in indicator switch (LOW switch) signal circuit.
- Indicator switch (LOW switch).
- ECM malfunction.
