No. 1 Vehicle Speed Sensor

Vehicle speed sensor is located on transmission. See Fig 1. Raise and support vehicle. Measure voltage between terminal SPD of ECM harness connector and body ground when the wheel is turned slowly. Voltage should fluctuate between zero and battery voltage. If reading is as specified, sensor is okay. If reading is not as specified, sensor is faulty.
