Circuit Description

Input turbine speed sensor detects rotation speed of input shaft. By comparing input turbine speed sensor signal and counter gear speed sensor signal, ECM detects shift timing of gears and controls engine torque and hydraulic pressure in response to various conditions to ensure smooth transaxle shifting. DTC will set if ECM detects vehicle speed of 20 MPH or more, transaxle in 2nd, 3rd or O/D gear, shift solenoids and PNP switch status normal, input shaft speed is 300 RPM or less, and output shaft speed is 1000 RPM or more.
