Park/Neutral Position Switch: Removal

Access the PNP switch. Disconnect the PNP switch connector. Remove clip from shift control cable. Remove nut and shift control cable from shift control lever. Remove nut and control shaft lever. See Figure. Using screwdriver, pry away lock plate tabs. Remove nut and lock plate. Remove 2 bolts and remove PNP switch.
