O/D Main Switch Signal

O/D main switch is a momentary type switch, and provides an input signal to ECM to indicate when overdrive is selected by vehicle operator. Pressing O/D main switch once will disable O/D and illuminate O/D OFF indicator. Pressing O/D main switch again will enable O/D and turn O/D OFF indicator off. Turning ignition off with O/D disabled will reset O/D main switch to OFF position (O/D enabled). O/D main switch is mounted on gearshift lever (floor or column mount). See Figure.
