Seat Belt Warning System (From July, 2003): Inspection

INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY LH

When fastening the seat belt (Buckle switch is OFF):

Measure the resistance between the terminals.

Standard:

FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY LH (BUCKLE SWITCH OFF) TERMINAL RESISTANCE CHART

Tester connection	Specified condition
2-3	Below 1Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly.

When releasing the seat belt (Buckle switch is ON):

Measure the resistance between the terminals.

Standard:

FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSY LH (BUCKLE SWITCH ON) TERMINAL RESISTANCE CHART

Tester connection	Specified condition
2 - 3	10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly.
