RX 300

NOTE: Adjust clearance with no negative pressure applied inside booster. With engine stopped, press brake pedal several times to set pressure inside booster to atmospheric pressure.
  1. Install a new gasket on master cylinder.
  2. Set special tool (09737-00011) on gasket and lower pin until its tip slightly touches piston. See Fig 1.
  3. Turn special tool (09737-00011) upside down, and set it on booster.
  4. Measure clearance between booster push rod and pin head. There should be no clearance.
  5. Adjust booster push rod length until push rod lightly touches pin head.
